Palm Springs Bachelorette Party

A couple of weeks ago, I ventured to Palm Springs with my best girlfriends (and my mom and Matt’s mom!) for the best bachelorette party!  I had never been to Palm Springs before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect- but it exceeded ALL my expectations and I can’t wait to go back!  The weekend that we were there was one of the hottest weekends of the year– temps were well above 110.  If you’re traveling to Palm Springs between June- August, be prepared to be mainly by a pool all day.  It’s not humid like the Midwest, which is amazing, but it was still HOT!

We flew into LA because it was cheaper than flying direct to Palm Springs from Chicago, but we didn’t hit any traffic so our drive was only 2 hours.  Since we got into LA around 8am, we had the whole day on Thursday in Palm Springs!  Below was our itinerary:

THURSDAY
12pm | Lunch & Margaritas @ Azucar
3pm | Check-in to our Airbnb (We stayed at the Pretty in Pink)
7pm | Taco Bar Dinner at the house
8pm | Games

FRIDAY

10am | Poolside Lounging
12pm | Lunch @ house from The Sandwich Spot (their salads were amazing!!)
6pm | Games
8pm | Dinner @ 849 Restaurant (this restaurant was the cutest)
10pm | Drinks at The Tonga Hut

SATURDAY

The Itinerary was the perfect mix of relaxing and party-time, so no one ever felt too tired for the next thing!  One thing I will mention is that Palm Springs has a very strict noise ordinance in place.  This means no music outside or loud voices after 10pm.  A lot of these Airbnb’s are located in residential neighborhoods which is why this ordinance is in place.  I never really even noticed it… if you’re with the right people you won’t even need the music! 🙂

Now onto some of the amazing vendors that made this trip even more amazing!!

BigMouth Inc filled our pool with some adorable pool floats– we had a giant ring, flamingo, swan, avocado, and a unicorn!  These floats were perfect for lounging in the pool all day (which we did every day!)

I gifted each of the girls attending a goody bag filled with the cutest little must-haves for Palm Springs!

Palm Springs Before the Rings Tote Bag – Scarlett Wedding

‘But First Palm Springs’ Eye Mask – The Sleepy Cottage

Monogrammed Flamingo Tumbler – Sequins in the South

Monogrammed Flamingo Coozie – Daws & Gray

Champagne Flavored Gummy Bears – Target

Palm Springs Before the Rings Tank Top (pictured above!) – The Couture Kitten

I Do Crew Swimsuits – The Couture Kitten

BRIDE Swimsuit // SHORTS: Abercrombie

Another HUGE shoutout to these amazing companies for stocking our fridge and keeping us hydrated all weekend long:

ONEHOPE Wine– the PRETTIEST glittered champage bottles & delicious Cabernet! ONEHOPE donates half of its profits to charity and each ONEHOPE wine varietal supports a different charitable cause or organization.

The Palm by Whispering Angel – The Palm is a blend of Grenache, Cynsault and Syrah made from grapes which are selected from the best vineyards in the appellation Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence. (this Rose was perfect for hanging poolside!)

Spiked Seltzer – This seltzer comes in 6 different flavors and is super refreshing, especially on a hot summer day!  I love how it’s all natural, low carb, and gluten free and tastes good too!

Thanks again to everyone (friends and retailers) for making this past weekend unforgettable! Now onto the Wedding… 2 more months to go!
