Whether you’re headed to the beach or pool this summer, there are always those necessities that everyone loves to bring along! I teamed up with Gordmans to show you all affordable must-haves to bring to your next sun session!
1. A fun beach tote. I love this one I got a while back from Shein. It’s the perfect size to throw a towel in with all the necessities. It’s a sturdy bag and has a lining in the inside to keep sand out! This one is no longer available, but I found a similar one here and here!
2. Sunscreen is a MUST! I love this one by ColorScience. It’s a powder-based sunscreen which I love, as it doesn’t give off a greasy feel or overly strong scent. This sunscreen can also be used alone or under makeup!
3. Flip Flops. I always look for the most water-proof option for sandals but still want them to look cute! I am personally not a fan of the rubber flip-flops, so I love the jelly material of these Capelli New York ones. They’re easy to walk in, the sand stays off your feet and the bow & studs make these super feminine and adorable for lunch or errands after! I found these on sale at Gordmans for only $6.98… I almost bought them in black too!
4. Lip balm. I pretty much can’t live without lip balm. I usually have 2-3 in my purse at all times, next to my bed, in the car etc. I always make sure to throw one in my beach bag before I head out, or I know I will regret it once I’m there. I scooped up this Nature Bee’s lip balm for only $0.99 in the checkout line at Gordmans!
5. A water bottle to stay hydrated! I found this adorable faux marble print one at Gordmans which is insulated to keep drinks cold. It was only $7.99 and they had so many different colors and patterns to choose from!
6. Sunglasses. A good pair of sunglasses can make all the difference when in the sun, so I always look for a pair that is UV protected. I also found these retro brown tortoise sunnies at Gordman’s for only $4.99!
7. Headphones. If I’m not in the water, I am usually sitting out listening to music and reading a book or magazine. I love these rose gold Bluetooth headphones I found at Gordmans for $9.99. They’re super easy to charge and work just as well as other name brand headphones that retail for over $100!
