Hi all! I am finally getting around to reviewing the UPPAbaby VISTA V2 Stroller and UPPABaby MESA car seat that I’ve gotten to use now for the past 8 months. I wanted to do this review to help all mamas to be, or current mamas who are in the market for a stroller and can’t decide what one to get! 🙂 I did a TON of research on strollers while pregnant with Josie and went back and forth with a couple of different models, before ultimately deciding on this duo. This is definitely not the cheapest stroller/car seat combo on the market, however, I always believe in the motto “what you pay is what you get” and I think this is the perfect example!
The UPPABaby VISTA V2 stroller comes in multiple colors and includes a bassinet for your infant and a toddler seat to grow with them. I chose the color “BRYCE” and absolutely love the clean look that can easily be transitioned between boy/girl. It also has a beautiful leather handlebar that’s super comfortable to hold onto while pushing. The basket on the bottom is a perfect size to store your diaper bag, toys, groceries, or anything else you need to bring along (trust me, it will be a LOT!)
As far as functionality, according to my husband, this stroller is the “Cadillac” of all strollers. It’s super easy to maneuver and the wheels spin and move so smoothly it’s actually fun to push! There’s a lock button on both wheels so you can easily lock it into place when stopped, and unlock it when you’re ready to move. One thing I really love about this stroller is the base collapses really easily and makes it super convenient to throw in the car or store when not using.
At first, we were using the Bassinet pretty much every time we used the stroller (it’s perfect for an infant, or a baby who’s not rolling/sitting yet) & know plenty of mamas who actually used the Bassinet for their baby’s overnight sleep (they sell a stand you can get to use it in the bedroom!) We also love the convenience of using the MESA Car Seat with the stroller as it’s super easy to click it in and out of the car, but we plan to get out the toddler seat soon as Josie is now big enough to sit up on her own.
If you plan to have more kids, which we definitely do, then the UPPABaby VISTA is definitely a great choice. There are Upper and Lower adapters that can be purchased that allow you to go from a single to double stroller. There is the RumbleSeat accessory seat and also a Piggyback board that attaches for a 3rd child! It’s a stroller that can grow right along with your family and also includes a great warranty for peace of mind.
All in all, we love our VISTA V2 and MESA and would highly recommend them to every mama out there! If you’re still searching for the perfect stroller, I promise this one can’t be beaten!
