Kendra Scott Color Bar Party

Last night I got together with some girlfriends for a Color Bar party at the Kendra Scott store on Michigan avenue. We started off with Sprinkles cupcakes and champagne (what could be better than that?!) as we browsed all of the goodies that encompass the store. After all 10 of us arrived, our sweet coordinator Madeline went over the Color Bar with us, explaining how it works and how you can custom make your own piece of jewelry.  About half of us already knew how it worked, but it was nice for the Kendra Scott newbies. 🙂 We all chose an item, I initially was going to go with the Rayne necklace, but since I already have a few of those, I picked some amazing two toned Alexa earrings. Alexa, which looks just like the Alexandra except with a little extra piece on the top, is only available at the color bar, but you are able to make any Color Bar piece online HERE. There was also 4 drawers filled with sale pieces, so there was something for everyone, plus not to mention an amazing deal on some normally pricey items.
If you’re ever near a Kendra Scott store, you have to stop in!  The store itself is so cute.  A fun fact we learned from Madeline was that Kendra designs her stores to look like her home.  The wall colors are the same as the ones in her living room, and the chandeliers (which are amazing) are the same ones she has hanging in her home.  Not only will you find a million pieces for yourself to wear in this store, but they make great gifts!  I purchased my mom’s birthday present from here back in November, and she loved everything! There are so many great pieces that would make amazing birthday or bridesmaid gifts.

If anyone every gets a chance to host or attend a Color Bar party, I highly suggest you do so!  It makes for such a fun girls night, and I’ve also heard of a lot of girls doing it as part of their bachelorette parties!  I want to thank Madeline and all the other girls who helped make our night so much fun and delicious (again, Sprinkles cupcakes, who could go wrong?). xoxo

And yeah can’t ever go wrong with champagne. Thanks for sharing you experience. I hope I get the chance to go to one of these parties. I dunno how good I’ll be at making my own jewelry lol

I love the idea of having this Kendra Scott party, but I just don't think I could get enough girls out to the store unfortunately. A lot of my girlfriends live in LA unfortunately, and I'd have to drag some coworkers to it so I don't know if they'd be interested but I absolutely love the idea! xx

  25. I have to admit to having no idea what this all is but it's making me want *so badly* to get in on it. Oddly enough I don't wear a lot of jewelry and what I do wear is vintage but I *love* making it. It looks like so much fun! Save me a cupcake, I'm coming over! 😛
