Happy Friday!! It seems like there is a monthly subscription box for everything these days, and each time one comes out I think my doormen start to hate me a little more. 🙂 Rocksbox, Birchbox, Le Tote, Stich Fix and many more have become super popular in the last couple of years, which who can resist a cute little box filled with goodies delivered to your doorstep once a month?! I was never super into Birchbox, mainly because I always had so many samples from Sephora that just sat in my drawer, but I decided to give GLOSSYBOX a try!

GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box that includes five luxury surprise beauty items delivered to your door for $21 a month. I have never actually tried Birchbox (I have a few friends who have) however it seemed to me like GLOSSYBOX provided bigger and better products in their boxes.

When I first received my box I was so excited to see what was inside! The box is a very clean, cute design, in of course, my favorite colors! <3

The inside of the box was wrapped up super pretty, love the floral print in the inside! (I am a sucker for pretty designs.)

Five decently sized products included in the box… all different product categories.

Flora*py Strength + Energy Mask– This mask is meant to “Awaken your mind and motivate your senses with the energy of Arnica and Rose.” Enhanced with Recovery Essence 8 – a proprietary blend of vervain flower, grape-seed oil, olive oil, clary sage oil, carrot oil, almond oil, rosehip and vitamin E. I checked out their website and found that they have different types of masks including “stress-relief,” “deep hydration,” “anti-aging” and more. The instructions say to leave it on for 15-20 minutes and I do believe it helped with puffiness. I’d definitely be interested in trying the other masks. Retails for $8 a mask.

Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy– Infused with Shea butter, macadamia nut oil and seaweed and algae extracts, this intensive cream nourishes skin so it’s noticeably smoother after each luxurious application. I absolutely LOVE this line, so I was really excited to see this hand cream in the box! It smells amazing and makes your hands feel super-soft. Retails for $9 for 25g.

Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme Global Anti-Aging Creme– Estee Lauder’s Revitalizing Supreme aims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and combat dullness and dehydration. I’ve actually used this product before in a bonus gift I received from Macy’s and while I don’t see too much of a difference, it does make my skin feel softer and hydrated without feeling oily. This creme is pretty pricey as it retails for $50 for a 1 oz jar.

Beauty For Real D-Fine Perfect Lip Pencil– I have never heard of this brand, so I did a little research and couldn’t seem to find this product sold anywhere else but on their website- so it’s not a very well-known brand. The actual lip liner color is a nudish tone, which works with any type of lip color. It’s pretty nice to have one pencil that you can where with any lipstick or gloss. Retails for $14.

Marsk Cosmetics Mineral Eye Shadow in “You’re Toast”– A great neutral brown resembling a wonderful slice of fresh toast, well done of course! 100% natural, mineral based loose powder that are strictly cruelty free (not tested on animals) and available in a range of striking shades that offer endless color possibilities for a professional makeup effect. Featuring a creamy texture, these highly pigmented powders are easily blend-able and offer you the ability to create depth and intensity around the eye. I do like the color, however I am not a huge fan of mineral eye shadow so it’s not my favorite. Retails for $22.50.

All-in-all, I was happy with my first months box. Would I purchase all these products on my own? Probably not, but it’s nice to try different products without having to buy a full size product. I am excited to see what’s in next months box!
